With a prior bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Registered Nursing, she has worked in clinical information technology before obtaining her Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management at Western Governors University. She is also an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has gained experience in both the hospital and outpatient settings. She has worked in various departments including Dermatology, Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgery, Endocrinology, and Informatics.

Mireya, a licensed esthetician who studied at Avalon Cosmetology in Alameda, CA, brings over 25 years of experience as a skincare expert and makeup artist. Passionate about helping others with their skincare needs, she is always eager to answer questions and provide personalized guidance. Mireya values top-tier customer service and patient care, ensuring every client feels supported and understood. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new dining spots, and spending quality time with her family. Her philosophy: “Skincare is more than a routine; it’s a dialogue with your body’s largest organ.”

Patient Care Coordinator and Nurse Assistant

Ella Tan holds an Associates Degree in Allied Health and is currently pursuing nursing. A dedicated professional at Sanctuaire MD since 2020, she has been contributing to patient care coordination and well-being. Ella’s passion lies in helping others achieve their skincare goals. Beyond work and outside school, she enjoys playing the guitar and cooking. As a future nurse, Ella aspires to make a positive impact on patients’ lives through empathy, compassion, and continuous learning.

Dr Nick Makhoul is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician in private practice since 1995. He earned his MD degree from Loyola University Chicago and his undergraduate BS from the University of California, Davis. As a Bay Area native, he has made the East Bay his home since 1995. He is married with three teenage children and has a passion for sports, the outdoors, and family nights out. Dr Nick is a strong advocate for healthcare prevention and the wellness of mind, body, and soul.
